Job Description

Full Time Telesales Executive – £20K
Musical Instrument Industry

Details
A great opportunity to join one of the best Guitar Brands and Music Companies in the UK
As a telesales executive, you will be contacting existing and potential customers by telephone.
Your job is to help them to buy the company's products, mainly the accessories range.
Our customers are Music shops that sell a wide range of musical instruments and accessories to the public.

Most of your working day will be spent on the phone making outgoing calls
.During each phone call, you're likely to:
Describe the product benefits and any special offers.
Give advice about how these may benefit customers personally.
Persuade customers to place orders.
Gather and document information about the customer.
Enter your notes into a computer, including dates for follow up calls.
Take orders and arrange for delivery and bills to be sent.

This is a great industry to work in and there are some interesting characters.. The work is fast paced, sometimes intense and always fun. You will build a rapport with customers and develop long terms business relationships giving repeat sales.

Hours and Environment
Fulltime, 38.5 – 40 hours a week. Normal hours are 9:30 to 5:30 Monday to Friday.
You will work in an open plan showroom / office environment, with a sectioned workstation containing a computer and telephone.

Want the job?
There are no set entry requirements. Sales technique, personality and energy are much more important than academic ability.
However, you may have to undertake a practical telephone and keyboard tests as part of the recruitment process.
Previous sales or customer service experience would be a definite advantage as selling is integral to this role.
An interest in music and/or guitars may also be an advantage.
Ongoing Sales training and advice will be given as will product training.
